| Why do my old light guns not work on a flat-screen TV? | A CRT gun depends on the timed raster of a CRT. LCD and panel hold the whole frame, so an optical gun has no timing to read. A modern marker/camera gun is the fix. |
| Are ROMs included with the emulators you describe? | No. Emulators are programs. ROMs, BIOS and firmware are copyrighted game data never hosted or linked here. |
| Is every rail shooter also a light-gun game? | No. Rail is a design for fixed-screen replay; light gun is an input. Some rail shooters use a gun; many use only a controller/pointer. |
| Can two light guns work at once? | Yes, using absolute devices, distinct IDs and raw/multi-device input routing. If the host merges them, one cursor controls both, which is a common setup error. |
| Do modern systems work on OLED and projectors? | Marker/camera systems are display-agnostic in principlSiden and projectors add geometry conditions. Each product page lists its limitations and a Last verified date. |
| Is recoil safe to install myself? | Solenoids need rated wiring, flyback protection and ventilation. The 12-36V supply is the main risk point; follow the maker's documentation. |
| Where can I play the old games today? | Legitimately via emulation software plus a modern gun where the game's hardware brightness. We never link to piracy or to hosted game data. |
